Two parts. The terms of sale cover buying on this website. The licence agreement is what you sign in the app before you link a store. If the two ever differ about refunds, the guarantee below wins.

Who sells

Email Machine is sold by Outhired, legal name, address, company number, VAT number. Contact: contact email.

What you buy

A licence to use Email Machine for one Shopify store, for your own business. One activation key per store. It is a one-time payment, not a subscription.

Price and payment

Prices are in euros. Business customers in the EU with a valid VAT number are charged without VAT (reverse charge). Others pay VAT where the law requires it. Payment is handled by Slash and its card processor.

The intro price is valid until the date shown on the page. After that, the normal price applies.

Delivery

After payment you get an email with your download link and activation key. You sign the licence agreement in the app before you link your store.

Business customers only

Email Machine is sold to businesses, not to consumers. Because it is digital content delivered right away, there is no 14-day cooling-off period. The guarantee below replaces it.

Running costs

Your own accounts have their own costs, such as AI credit, your Klaviyo plan and your image tool. You pay those directly to them.

Match-your-results guarantee

If the Email Machine doesn't match your agency's results, you get a 100% refund of the licence fee.

• What we compare: the share of your total revenue that comes from email, as Klaviyo's dashboard shows it (attributed revenue as % of total).
• Before: the last 30 days your agency (or you) ran your email.
• After: the first 30 days after your Email Machine flows and campaigns went live.
• How to claim: within 14 days after those 30 days, send us a screenshot of both periods from your Klaviyo dashboard.
• What we ask: that you used the Machine as set up, with the flows switched on and the weekly campaigns sent.
• Big swings: if your total revenue changed by more than 30% between the two periods, we compare email revenue in euros instead of the share.

After a refund, your activation key is switched off and you stop using the Machine. What it already made for your store stays yours.

This guarantee is an exception to section 8 of the licence agreement ("no refund once a key is activated").

Email Machine licence agreement

Version 2026-10-06.1. An agreement between Outhired, the makers of Email Machine ("we", "us") and you, the person signing below, for yourself and for the business you sign for ("you").

Thank you for choosing Email Machine. We kept this short and plain on purpose. It says what you get, what we ask in return, and who looks after what. Questions? Please contact us using the details on this page before you sign.

1. What you get

A licence to use Email Machine for one Shopify store per activation key, for your own business. The licence is personal: you cannot pass it on, and a key cannot be moved to another store.

Your keys are bound to you. From the moment you sign, every activation key you use is bound to you and to the business you use it for. This stays so if a name, email or company you typed is wrong, incomplete or left out: the person who signs, and the business that uses the key, are both bound by this agreement. Please type your details correctly.

"The Machine" means the desktop app, the work our servers do for you, and everything that comes with it: prompts, templates, designs, guides, playbooks, calendars and videos.

The Machine stays ours. What it makes for your store is yours to use in your store: your emails, flows, photos, brand guide and plans. You may keep using those, also after the licence ends.

2. What we ask of you

We built the Machine from what works in our own stores. Its prompts, templates and guides are our trade secrets. So we ask you to keep them to yourself. You, and anyone who works for you, will not:

• share, sell, rent, lend or give away the Machine, its materials or your activation keys;
• show it to people outside your business, for example in videos, courses, posts, screen shares or demos;
• copy it, take it apart, decompile or reverse-engineer it, or pull out its prompts, templates or code;
• use it to build, train or help a product that does the same thing as the Machine;
• use one key for more than one store, or get around a limit or protection in the Machine.

Your team may use the Machine for your stores. You make sure they follow this section too. It applies while you use the Machine and for 5 years after.

3. Your accounts and your data

You connect your own accounts: Shopify, Klaviyo, Claude, OpenAI or Google, Slack, WhatsApp, ParcelPanel and others. They stay yours, and you can disconnect them at any time.

Your Shopify and Klaviyo keys are locked on your computer and never leave it. Your AI keys pass through our server only to do a job for you. We never store them.

To do a job, the facts it needs (your products, your brand, your answers) pass through our server. We do not keep them after the job. Your Email Machine folder is on your computer and is yours.

We keep only what we need to run your licence and help you: this signature, your activation keys and store addresses, error reports (with keys removed) and WhatsApp messages on their way to you. We never sell any of it.

Your customers' data stays in your own Klaviyo and Shopify. You make sure you are allowed to email the people on your list, and you follow the laws that apply to you, such as the GDPR and CAN-SPAM.

4. What the Machine does, and what you check

The Machine uses AI. Its texts, photos, plans and advice can be wrong. The app shows you everything first, so you can check it before it goes live.

The Machine only changes your Klaviyo or Shopify when you tell it to: when you press a button, approve a plan, or switch on autopilot. New flows arrive as drafts, switched off, until you switch them on.

Your own accounts have their own costs, such as AI credit and your Klaviyo plan. Those are yours to pay. You can set a monthly AI budget in the app.

5. Updates

We keep improving the Machine. Updates download by themselves and start the next time you open the app.

An update never changes your live flows or campaigns in Klaviyo, or anything in your Shopify.

Sometimes Shopify, Klaviyo or an AI provider changes how their systems work. We may then have to change or remove a feature. We tell you about it in the app.

6. If something goes wrong

We work hard to make the Machine good, but we cannot promise results: not your revenue, your open rates, your inbox placement, or that it always works without errors. You get the Machine as it is.

We are not liable for what happens in your own accounts. For example: an account at Klaviyo, Shopify or an email provider that gets limited or closed; an email or discount that goes out wrong, too often or not at all; outages or changes at Shopify, Klaviyo, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Meta, Slack or ParcelPanel; costs on your accounts; or lost revenue, profit, data or customers, and other indirect loss.

If we are liable anyway, our total liability is limited to what you paid us for the licence of the store concerned. These limits do not apply where we caused damage on purpose or through gross negligence. That is the law.

We are not liable for claims, fines or other actions by governments, regulators or other authorities about your store, your emails, your offers or your reviews, for example under privacy, spam, consumer or advertising law. Those are yours to handle.

Reviews. In setup you choose how your review email asks for reviews. If you choose the prize draw (a refund for some buyers who leave a review, and happy and unhappy buyers sent to different places), you know that Trustpilot's rules and some laws do not allow this. You choose it yourself, and the risk is yours: if Trustpilot, a platform or an authority acts on it, we are not liable.

If someone else (a customer, a platform or an authority) makes a claim against us because of the emails you sent or the way you used the Machine, you cover that claim and its costs.

7. If the Machine is shared anyway

A leak is very hard to undo. That is why section 2 has a fixed sum attached. For each breach of section 2, for example each person, store or business that gets the Machine, its materials or one of your keys without its own licence, you pay us USD 50,000. We do not have to prove our loss first.

This applies whoever did it: you, someone in your team, or anyone you gave access to your computer, your folder or your keys. It also applies if the details you typed when you signed were wrong.

We may also switch off the keys involved, ask you to stop and to delete what was copied, ask a court for an order, and claim our full damages where they are higher than this sum.

Did something get out by accident? Tell us right away (reply to your activation email) and help us stop it. We will work with you to fix it.

8. Payment and ending

Licence fees are paid in advance. Once a key is activated there is no refund, except where the law says otherwise.

You may stop using the Machine at any time.

We may switch off a key, without refund, if you break this agreement. Where the problem can be fixed, we first ask you to fix it (this does not apply to section 2).

When the licence ends, you stop using the Machine and delete any copies of its materials. What it already made for your store stays yours to use. Sections 2, 6, 7 and 9 keep applying.

9. Signing, and the rest

You sign electronically. Ticking the box, typing your full name and pressing Sign is your signature. It is just as binding as a signature on paper. As proof we keep your name, email and company, the exact text you signed (its fingerprint), the date and time, your IP address and the app version. A copy is saved in your Email Machine folder.

You confirm you are at least 18, that your details are correct, and that you are allowed to sign for the business you name. If you sign for a business you are not allowed to sign for, you are bound personally as well.

This agreement falls under the laws of the Netherlands. A dispute goes to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, unless we choose the courts where you are based.

If one part of this agreement is not valid, the rest still is, and the invalid part is replaced by a valid one that comes as close as possible.

This is the whole agreement about the Machine. If we change it, we show you the new version in the app. Until you sign a new version, the version you signed applies.
